Sportsman Blog: Hannah Line’s D/SA Camaro

Welcome back everyone!

As I mentioned in the last entry, I race a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Stock Eliminator. I am currently in D/SA, which has an 11.55 index. For those of you who are not familiar with Stock Eliminator, we qualify based on each class’s index and how far over or under that index that you run.

When I was 16 and had graduated from the Jr. Dragster division, I moved up to Street Trophy and raced my dad’s 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. My first season in a big car, I won two races, got runner-up at two races, and attained a 3rd place finish in the points chase.

Towards the end of my first season in a big car, I went with my dad and some family friends on a long drive out to Kentucky. We ended up coming home with two Camaros that both currently compete in Stock Eliminator.

My car was actually in the process of becoming a Stocker. The moment we unloaded the car back in Minnesota, it was on the way to becoming the beautiful car it is now. My dad and I, along with the help from so many people, built the car from a shell. It was truly a father daughter project. I am so thankful for all the things I learned!

More soon. Thanks for reading.
