Two-time NHRA Pro Stock finalist Fernando Cuadra Sr., of Leon, Mexico, and his three sons have extended their commitment to Pro Stock for the 2020 season of the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and will compete in their own cars with engines purchased from builder Nick Ferri.

Cuadra Sr. will begin the year behind the wheel of the Chevrolet Camaro his son, Fernando Jr., raced in 2019, and he expects to take delivery of a new Jerry Haas-built Pro Stocker this spring.

Cristian and Fernando Jr. will pilot their Pro Stock Ford Mustangs, while David will continue fine-tuning his crew chief skills with his eyes set on one day also debuting in the class. As before, the three brothers will crew one another’s cars with the guidance of their father.

“Last year was like a dream with KB Racing; they’re part of Pro Stock history. Now we’re very excited for this year and to start the season at the Winternationals with all three cars and our own program,” said Fernando Jr. “We don’t know what the future holds, but we had a good start, and now we are just hoping to continue getting better and better.”
