KB Titan’s Dallas Glenn wins Las Vegas, extends the lead as championship fight comes to a rolling boil

LAS VEGAS (Nov. 2, 2025) — The battle for the 2025 Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Pro Stock championship has been whittled down to just two, and with a victory in Las Vegas, Dallas Glenn and his KB Titan Racing-powered RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro extended the points lead and created quite a hill to climb for his closest competitor when the tour pulls into Pomona, Calif., for the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals. The championship has come down to Glenn and his boss, Greg Anderson, driver of the HendrickCars.com Chevrolet and the most winning driver in the history of the class. Glenn now leads Anderson, the reigning and six-time world champion, by 92 points heading into the last race of the season.
A potentially pivotal moment in the season’s championship chase – and most likely one of the most important rounds of Glenn’s career to date – came in the semifinals there at the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals, where he and Anderson found one another, each intent on defeating the friendly rival in the other lane. Glenn launched first with a .026 light, but Anderson was only behind by seven-thousandths in his start. It was an incredible war down the dragstrip, with Glenn keeping just ahead even as Anderson worked hard to make up ground. At the final stripe, it was Glenn with the win light on a 6.606, 206.92 that defeated a quicker 6.603, 205.91. The margin of victory in Glenn’s favor was just four thousandths of a second, allowing him to advance to the 40th final round of his Pro Stock career and 13th of the season in just 17 races.
“Even though winning that round over Greg felt like a win to me, now I had a chance to really put the damage on. It was like, ‘You can go put the icing on the cake,’ and who wants a cake without icing,” said Glenn, who went on to earn his eighth win of the season and 21st Pro Stock trophy of his career by defeating KBT-powered Matt Hartford in the final, putting up a characteristically quick .006-second reaction time and a 6.602 pass at 206.61 mph to keep ahead of Hartford’s strong .012 start and 6.625, 207.50.
En route to the final, Glenn defeated 26-time Pro Stock winner Dave Connolly, part of the KB Titan braintrust of crew chiefs, before notching victory over six-time champion Erica Enders in the quarterfinals.
Glenn and Anderson have been in combat for more than a year, stretching back to the 2024 championship that was won by Anderson in the final round of the final race of the season. The two went head-to-head in last year’s Pomona finale with Anderson winning their match by .002-second and, thusly, the championship by 11 points. This time around, Glenn is entering Pomona more than three rounds ahead of his competitor. In essence, Glenn would have to falter early, and Anderson would have to all but win in order to score a seventh series title.
It could still go in either direction, and no matter what happens, KB Titan Racing is assured a 10th Pro Stock championship. For Glenn, to be in this position with one of the most successful teams in NHRA history borders on unbelievable.
“At the beginning of this season, we were just having so much fun trying to crush everybody, and both our cars were just working fantastic,” said Glenn, who grew up bracket racing and racing in NHRA’s Lucas Oil Sportsman series, always dreaming of Pro Stock. “But now, to get by Greg in an absolutely crazy race today and make it to another final – there are just so many people who haven’t even been able to win that many rounds, let alone to have all of those final rounds in one season. It reminds you of the glory days of KB Racing, when they won like 19 races in one season. I feel like we’re having one of those seasons, and you just don’t want to be the one to mess it up. I can’t describe how good this feels, holding the trophy here. It hasn’t really hit me yet, but I still need to do good in Pomona.”
The final stop on the 2025 Mission Foods Drag Racing Series tour will be the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals in Pomona, Nov. 13-16.

Greg Anderson lands 140th No. 1, KB Titan set for powerful launch into raceday in Las Vegas

Final qualifying solidified a stout Pro Stock field at the second-to-last Mission Foods Drag Racing Series event of the season, with Greg Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro leading the charge for KB Titan Racing (KBT). The cars in the KBT stable were strong throughout qualifying to set up a charge for the trophy at the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals, and Anderson’s incredible final pull on Saturday afternoon culminated in the 140th No. 1 qualifier award of his career and eighth of the season.
“I didn’t do a great job yesterday, we were just a little bit off, but today was picture-perfect for me,” said Anderson, who made the quickest pass in each of Saturday’s sessions to net six total bonus points. His best time was a bold 6.572 in the fourth session. “The whole KB Titan camp looks really good this weekend, and it’s going to be fun tomorrow. I’m happy my car is running like it does because for me right now, this race is everything. I’m not worrying about Pomona yet; I have to do well here. I have to gain ground on Dallas Glenn here, or Pomona is just going to be another race for me.”
Anderson and Glenn have been neck-and-neck since the first race of the season, carrying the 2024 late-season battle for the championship into the new year and extending it with each event. Glenn held the lead after winning Gainesville over Anderson, and then Anderson’s win in Phoenix gave the reigning and six-time world champion the top spot for three races before Glenn got it back with victories at the Las Vegas and Charlotte four-wide events. Anderson’s back-to-back wins in Epping and Bristol put the lead in his hands until Seattle, when Glenn again took the top spot. The young gun has held it ever since and was 60 marks in the lead over Anderson entering this weekend’s race. At the conclusion of Las Vegas qualifying, Anderson had chipped away at the gap and is 52 points back heading into Sunday.

Anderson and Glenn have regularly qualified on opposite sides of the ladder this season and have met in the final round seven times. Here in Las Vegas, though, Elite Motorsports-powered Aaron Stanfield disrupted the pattern with a run in the final qualifying session that wedged him between No. 1 qualifier Anderson and No. 2 Cory Reed, and Glenn, who had been No. 3, was bumped down to fourth. That brought Glenn and the RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet to the same side of the ladder as Anderson. Only twice this season have Anderson and Glenn met in a round that was not the final — in Reading, Glenn got the nod over Anderson in the semifinals, and in St. Louis, Anderson got the best of Glenn in the second round. Anderson won St. Louis and Glenn won Reading.
“Coming in, I didn’t figure we’d get a chance to lock horns until the final round, but now, if we do our job, we’ll lock horns in the semifinals,” said Anderson. “It doesn’t matter when it happens, though. I have to find a way to get to the finish line first, not only with Dallas, but everybody I run tomorrow. I have to win the event; it’s that simple for me. I don’t have to think about anything else, just win.”

Anderson will race Troy Coughlin Jr. in the first round, and if he should advance, he will take on the winner of a match including KBT stablemate Matt Latino and Greg Stanfield. Glenn will start eliminations with a tough draw in 26-time Pro Stock winner Dave Connolly, who is not only part of the KB Titan Racing braintrust of crew chiefs, but who is also driving a Vegas General Construction car as tribute to Ken Black, the original owner of KB Racing who started the team with Anderson at the helm and behind the wheel of the original Vegas General Construction entry. The winner in the Glenn vs. Connolly match will race either David Cuadra or Erica Enders in round two.
While Rookie of the Year contender Matt Latino qualified No. 8 in the FASS Diesel Systems car and in the top half of the field for the sixth time in his first 11 races, his father Eric wheeled the GESi Camaro to a start from the No. 7 position. Eric Latino will take KB Titan power to a first-round meeting with Jeg Coughlin Jr.

Reed and the KB Titan Racing J&A Service Camaro were atop the pole on the first day of qualifying in Las Vegas, but were bumped down on day two. Starting No. 3, he will race Fernando Cuadra Jr. in the opening act. Racing with KB Titan bullets under the hood, Matt Hartford and Deric Kramer will square off in round one, Hartford from the No. 6 position in his Eddie Guarnaccia-tuned The Hose Connection entry and Kramer 11th for Get BioFuels with Michael Hiner turning the wrenches.

“You’ve had all year to practice, to hone your skill,” said Anderson. “When you finally get down to these last two races, there are no excuses. You’ve made plenty of runs down the racetrack in the car, and you’re not knocking any rust off. You’re supposed to be at the top of your game and peaking at this time of the year, and I’ve been fortunate to do that in my career. I did it last year, and I’d love to repeat the same thing this year, but there are plenty of land mines you can step on out there. You have to avoid them and race error free.
“It’s been a magical weekend celebrating Ken Black here at his home track, and I’ve felt him riding on my shoulder this weekend. He was loved by all, and no one more than me. If the stars align, we can have a magical day tomorrow. No matter what, it’s going to be a big day.”
Final eliminations at the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway are slated to begin at 11 a.m. PT.

KB Titan’s Cory Reed makes a strong statement on the first day of qualifying at the NHRA Nevada Nationals

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 31, 2025) —It was all treats and no tricks for KB Titan Racing on Halloween Friday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The first day of qualifying at the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals turned up a provisional No. 1 for second-year Pro Stock racer Cory Reed, with reigning and six-time world champion Greg Anderson, Reed’s KB Titan Racing teammate, not too far behind in the No. 2 position.
“It would be nice to knock it out and get it done,” said Reed, who qualified in the No. 2 position at the most recent event in Dallas and is inching up to the first pole of his career. “It’ll be tough – Erica Enders, they finally got her going fast again, and she’s always good here. Obviously, me and Greg’s cars are really equal and tight, but we’ll see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully, the weather gets really [terrible].”
In the first session of qualifying, Reed’s 6.619-second pass at 205.85 mph was good for the No. 8 position, and it was a powerful 6.597, 206.32 in the J&A Service Chevrolet that launched him to the top. Anderson, driving the HendrickCars.com Camaro, took KBT power to the No. 2 spot on a 6.598, 206.23. Reed claimed three bonus points, and Anderson reeled in one.
KB Titan, as a whole, where strong on Friday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where they honored Ken Black, the founder of KB Racing who passed away in August. Dave Connolly, a 26-time Pro Stock winner and an integral part of the KB Titan braintrust, was behind the wheel of the Vegas General Construction/KB Racing Pro Stocker, an entry the team is campaigning in tribute to the first car that Black and Anderson brought to the starting line when they first partnered together over two decades ago.
Reed and Anderson led the pack on day one, with incoming points leader Dallas Glenn in the No. 5 spot driving the RAD Torque Systems car; Matt Latino in the No. 6 spot for FASS Diesel Solutions; Deric Kramer and his Get BioFuels Chevy No. 9; GESi campaigner Eric Latino No. 10; Matt Hartford and his Total Seal Camaro No. 12; and Connolly Lucky No. 13.
Reed has had an exceptional season of growth after making his debut in Seattle last year. He won the first NHRA event of his career earlier this year in Norwalk at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals and has qualified sixth or better 11 times in the 16 Pro Stock races contested so far in 2025. He’s been as high as third in the championship points and was No. 5 in the standings entering Las Vegas.
“I want to move forward in the championship (points), not backwards,” shared Reed. “I’ve been hanging out with Dallas [Glenn, KBT teammate] a lot, and he’s been rubbing off on me, so I think it’s good. Momentum is huge; it feels nice, it makes going to bed easier, and you wake up a lot happier. Having a good attitude definitely helps.”
Qualifying for the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals will continue on Saturday at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with sessions scheduled at noon and 2:30 p.m. PT.

Pro Stock newcomer Matt Latino in the mix for NHRA Rookie of the Year

It’s been an incredible season for second-generation drag racer Matt Latino. This year has been about learning how to drive one of the extremely finicky Pro Stock cars, but it’s also been a year of learning how to adapt, promote, and stand his ground in competition with the best of the best. With 10 national events on his scorecard as part of the esteemed KB Titan Racing team and the 2025 NHRA Rookie of the Year award up for grabs, Latino is all in on a bright future.
“I like going fast, and although I’d never ran at a professional level before, this whole deal has been exciting,” said Latino, who licensed early and then made his debut at the NHRA Arizona Nationals in Phoenix.
He cut his teeth in street cars and then made the big move into Pro Stock driving one of the KB Titan Racing entries under the tutelage of some of the best drivers to have raced in the category. Six-time and reigning world champion Greg Anderson, 2021 Rookie of the Year Dallas Glenn, and championship tuner Dave Connolly are all part of the team in which he races, but it’s father Eric Latino who has had the most influence.
“I’ve wanted to get behind the wheel for a very long time, and growing up around my dad when he was racing Pro Mod, so many people had asked me when I was going to drive,” said the Canadian-born driver who now resides in Charlotte with his wife and children. “I always dreamed of running Pro Mod like my dad, but when we had the opportunity to get into Pro Stock, I found out how cool these cars are. I realized pretty quickly that this is what I wanted to get into, and I’m loving it. I think I’ve picked it up pretty quickly, but I don’t underestimate it. I know I have a lot to learn.”
In just his second race, Latino qualified for the event and earned a win light on raceday. The following event — the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Las Vegas — he reached the final round. In the 10 events he has contested, Latino has qualified in the top half of the field more than half the time, adding round wins to his record and powering to a semifinals finish in St. Louis. A good chunk of the season has not been recorded on his personal scorecard as he raced several events to claim points for his father, who was on medical leave, but Latino continued to show up and improve as he poured his heart into learning the craft and planning for the future.
“I couldn’t even choose a high point of the season,” he shared. “It’s all been pretty surreal, but one thing I’ve really been loving is bringing on new sponsors, bonding with them, and building those connections.
“Driving the car is awesome, and it’s such a cool thrill. I’ve been able to work on myself as a driver and show that I can adapt; I’ve been in three different cars already in my rookie year. I take a decent amount of pride in being able to fill in for my dad and hold his position strong in the No. 5 spot for those races.”
With the support of companies such as FASS Diesel Solutions, PowerEdge, Clean Diesel Specialists (CDS), and Ace Race Parts, Latino was able to commit to finishing the season with a strong run in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs. His on-track success has included victories over multi-time champion Jeg Coughlin Jr. and championship contender Aaron Stanfield.
“I’ve worked really hard to be here,” he said. “I like to think I’ve done a good job adapting in a really tough sport and being able to fund it entirely on my own by bringing on valuable sponsors. I think my biggest achievement has been starting the season hoping to be able to run one or two races, and then being able to run more than 10 by working day and night to build relationships with partners that made it possible. I’m grateful to be here, and I’m excited for the future.”

Points leader Dallas Glenn keeps KB Titan in the driver’s seat; claims victory at NHRA FallNationals to secure milestone 20th win

The final hours of the 2025 season of the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series are inching ever-closer, and points leader Dallas Glenn continues to show that he has the drive, spirit, and racecar to earn his first Pro Stock world championship. Driving the RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro out of the 10-time championship winning KB Titan Racing stable, Glenn proved steady behind the wheel at the 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals to score his first win at Texas Motorplex, seventh of the season, and milestone 20th of his career. It was the 209th Pro Stock title for the historic KB Titan Racing team.
After qualifying in the No. 3 position, Glenn opened eliminations with an intense match with KB Titan-powered Cody Coughlin. His opponent left first on a .016-second reaction time, but Glenn made up ground efficiently to recover from a .044 start and put up a 6.537-second pass at 208.97 to beat a 6.571, 208.29 by just six-thousandths of a second.
In the second-round, the Washington-state native and North Carolina transplant was better at both ends of the track to defeat another teammate in Eric Latino, (.041) 6.574, 208.66 to (.133) 6.601, 209.38, and for his efforts he earned a semifinal battle with one of the most decorated and veteran drivers in the class, Jeg Coughlin Jr. Notoriously strong at the starting line, Coughlin was .011 at the hit, but he soon fell into tire shake as Glenn sailed ahead to win on a 6.627.
“I definitely had a lot of luck today,” admitted Glenn. “Cody crushed me on the tree in the first round and I was able to outrun him, then Jeggie was .011 but wasn’t able to make it down. You could see how tricky it was out there in the semifinals; we were a full tenth [of a second] off our qualifying, but the crew chiefs did a fantastic job getting my car down the track four times.”
In the final, Glenn’s .034 start and 6.605, 208.89 got it done by just .007-second over Aaron Stanfield’s .024 and 6.622, 208.75. With the win, Glenn’s lead in the Pro Stock standings extends to 60 points.
“I’m just trying to take it one win at a time,” said Glenn. “Everything is in the past, and I’m just thinking about the next one moving forward. But I’ve always had it in the back of my mind that Dave Connolly [former full-time driver and currently one of the KB Titan Racing crew chiefs] has 27, and I’d really like to get past him.”
The next race on the tour will be the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals in Las Vegas, October 30 through November 2. Last season, the championship came down to the final round of the final race, and there, Glenn’s teammate and boss, Greg Anderson, won a very close match to snatch the championship from his hands in the last moment of the season with a small 11-point advantage. Glenn, who has had the points lead since sweeping Seattle earlier this year, does not want a repeat.
“It was definitely cool to have No. 1 and No. 2 on our cars, and I don’t remember 11 points – I remember it was two-thousandths of a second, because that’s what the final round was,” recalled Glenn.
“As far as my reaction times, I was driving way better last year. I’m driving good and consistent now, but the car has come around a little bit better, and I’m a little bit more relaxed for some reason. But Greg Anderson – there is a good reason he has 112 wins now. His car is fast, and he always does his job when he needs to. To be able to beat him at all, at any point in a race, is tough. Especially in the Countdown because throughout the season, his car just gets better and better and better. I definitely don’t want a repeat of last year. I want to be 11 points on the good side this time.”

Greg Anderson locks down historic 139th No. 1, KB Titan has packed arsenal at Texas FallNationals

Dallas (Oct. 11, 2025) — The Southwest sun blazed with fury upon the racing surface at Texas Motorplex through four sessions of qualifying for the Texas NHRA FallNationals, but KB Titan Racing, led by Greg Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro, wasn’t the least bit perturbed. Six-time and reigning Pro Stock champion Anderson powered to the 139th No. 1 qualifying position of his career, passing Warren Johnson as the Pro Stock driver with the most No. 1 qualifier awards in NHRA history. KB Titan teammates Cory Reed, Dallas Glenn, Matt Hartford, Eric Latino, Matt Latino, and Deric Kramer all scored a spot from the top half of the field.
“I’m just super proud of the KB Titan team,” said Anderson, who also earned the GESi Pro Stock No. 1 Qualifier Award bonus. “We had a great couple of days of qualifying at the Motorplex. I love racing here; it’s a Pro Stock track, it’s a Greg Anderson track, and I love racing here. Tomorrow, we get to race for the trophy and for that cowboy hat, and I absolutely want both of those things.”
Anderson’s best time of 6.497-second came during the exciting Friday Night Live event at Texas Motorplex. Along with the provisional pole and six bonus points as quickest of both Friday sessions, Anderson scored the $7,500 cash bonus. Heading into Saturday, he had momentum. In the early session he was again low of the round for another three bonus marks to bring the total claimed in Dallas qualifying to nine. In the final session, he made a decent pass, but low of the round honors went to Glenn, the incoming points leader whom Anderson now trails by one round heading into eliminations.
Last season, Anderson and Glenn took the championship battle all the way to the final round of the final race of the season, and this year, the battle roared on between the two friendly rivals. For Anderson, having the 2021 Rookie of the Year challenge for the championship again — and to do so from under the KB Titan Racing umbrella — is fueling his own fire.
“Dallas is a win waiting to happen every race we go to,” he said. “He makes me try to dig down to find an extra gear, and he’s absolutely pushing me to find something that’s probably almost gone in me. I’ve been able to find a little bit of youth when I race him, and I thank him for that.”
On Sunday, Glenn and Anderson are on the opposite sides of the ladder. Anderson will start his quest for a 113th Pro Stock trophy with a first-round meeting with David Cuadra. Glenn, who picked up six bonus points in the RAD Torque Systems Camaro, will race KB Titan Racing teammate Cody Coughlin. Young Coughlin, who is up for Rookie of the Year, started the 2025 NHRA Countdown to the Championship by reaching the first final round of his career at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading.
Kramer, driving the Get BioFuels Chevrolet overseen by crew chief Michael Hiner, is starting from the No. 8 position. He is set to meet with Pro Stock rookie Chris Vang. Starting fourth and with a qualifying bonus point in his pocket, Matt Hartford and his The Hose Connection/Rottler/Total Seal Camaro will square off with Stephen Bell. Hartford enters Sunday No. 3 in the Pro Stock points and 165 marks out of the top spot.
Norwalk winner Cory Reed and his J&A Service Camaro had an impressive car in qualifying, and the well-tuned machine reeled in seven bonus points and a start from the No. 2 spot — his best of the season. Reed will race Troy Coughlin Jr. in the opening act. Rookie of the Year contender Matt Latino and the FASS Diesel Systems Chevy will start seventh and race Jeg Coughlin Jr. in round one.
Latino’s father, Eric Latino, earned a career-first pole in St. Louis two weeks ago driving his GESi Camaro. Here at Texas Motorplex, he landed the No. 6 position and a first-round meeting with veteran racer Greg Stanfield.
Anderson has had notable success at Texas Motorplex in previous seasons, including capturing the 98th win of his career there in 2021 to move into position as the most winning driver in the history of the class. He now holds 112 victories, second only to Funny Car legend John Force, and six of those victories have been captured this year.
“This racetrack has been very, very good to me,” said Anderson, who has more wins in Dallas than any other Pro Stock driver with titles won in 2003, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2019, and 2021. Last season, he advanced to the final round and set in motion a powerful finish to the season that culminated in the Pro Stock world championship. Following Dallas, Anderson reached the final in Las Vegas and got the nod in a must-win final round at the NHRA Finals.
“The season isn’t over yet, but a good day tomorrow would go a long way,” said Anderson. “I’ve got a great car, but so do my teammates and so does the competition. I’m going to have to bring my A-game, without a doubt.”
Final eliminations at the Texas NHRA FallNationals are set to begin at 10 a.m. Central Sunday at Texas Motorplex.

St. Louis winner Greg Anderson narrows the gap on KB Titan teammate and points leader Dallas Glenn

The KB Titan Racing (KBT) team worked together to hold off the surging competition and sweep the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis this weekend. Greg Anderson won the event in the HendrickCars.com Chevrolet in an all-KB Titan final over Matt Hartford, and KBT teammate Eric Latino scored his first No. 1 qualifying start.
In winning the event, Anderson took a big chunk out of points leader and KB Titan counterpart Dallas Glenn’s advantage, chomping a 79-point lead down to just 25 marks.
“Timing is everything, and it just all comes down to what you do and when you do it in drag racing,” said now 112-time Pro Stock winner Anderson, the reigning and six-time world champion. “There were a lot of big rounds today. I struggled in qualifying and didn’t have the most confidence coming into Sunday, but what a recovery my guys made with my racecar. It was not a happy racecar in qualifying, and that’s not normal for us – but they figured it out, and I made four very high-quality runs.
“It’s been a great year so far for our team, and we got the Wally in the first three races of the Countdown. I’m proud of that, and I’m proud of this team – but it’s not over yet.”
What counted in qualifying
At the third of six NHRA Countdown to the Championship events, every point was critical, and KB Titan Racing ensured that their challengers gained as few as possible every day of the race. Latino did his job in the GESi Chevrolet during qualifying, racing to a best time of 6.515, 209.75 and accumulating six total bonus points with one of the fastest cars across four sessions.
J&A Service Camaro campaigner Cory Reed wielded dominant KB Titan Racing horsepower to take top marks with seven total bonus points scored. Anderson claimed three, while Rookie of the Year hopefuls Matt Latino (2) and Cody Coughlin (1) scooped up the rest, leaving zero bonus marks for anyone outside of the KBT camp.

GESi No. 1 Qualifier Award winner Latino took the top spot, with Glenn No. 2, Reed No. 3, and KB Titan-powered Matt Hartford No. 4. Elite Motorsports racers Erica Enders and Aaron Stanfield broke up the KBT top-half qualifying party with the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, and Anderson and Coughlin rounded out the quick eight.
Matt Latino, Eric’s son and the newest KB Titan Racing driver, moved off the bump spot and away from a potential first-round meeting with dear ol’ dad on the second day of qualifying, powering his FASS Diesel Fuel Systems entry to a 6.559 to move up to the No. 11 position.
The ladder heading into raceday showed two KB Titan racers on one side – Eric Latino and Hartford – with Glenn, Anderson, Reed, and Matt Latino on the other.
A spectacular Sunday
The odds were not in their favor for an all-KBT final, but the historic team accomplished the goal and advanced two cars to the final for the 11th time in the 15 Pro Stock events so far contested in 2025. In doing so, a 208th win for the team became inevitable.

Rising Pro Stock competitor Matt Latino became an important player in the Countdown to the Championship game as he took down incoming No. 3 man Stanfield on a holeshot in the first round. Latino left first, clocking a crisp and valuable .006-second reaction time and driving to a 6.560, 206.95 to defeat his opponent’s respectable though ineffective .029 and 6.547, 210.08. In the next pair, Matt Hartford and crew chief Eddie Guarnaccia effectively utilized KBT power to get it done over Cristian Cuadra, 6.545, 210.05 to 6.585, 207.21.
On the other side of the ladder, Anderson began his journey to an astounding 191st career final with a decisive win over a tire rattling Mason McGaha. Anderson’s 6.527 in the charging HendrickCars.com Pro Stocker was low elapsed time of the round and would hold as the quickest pass of the entire day.
KB Titan was making important strides, and factory hot rod fans were tuned in for the marquee matchup as points leader Glenn drew one of the most decorated drivers and historically best leavers in the sport, Jeg Coughlin Jr. Early in his own professional career behind the wheel of the RAD Torque Systems Chevy, Glenn earned the nickname “Double-Oh” Dallas for his consistently quick moves at the starting line, making the veteran vs. next gen match quite compelling. Glenn rose to the challenge and threw down a .010 at the hit, with Coughlin clocking a .037, and a good race transpired. At the finish-line stripe it was Glenn for the win, 6.538, 209.52 to 6.549, 210.37.
Another monster match-up awaited Glenn in the quarterfinals, where boss Anderson was waiting. Neck-and-neck for the championship for the second consecutive season, Anderson and Glenn have squared off seven times in the final round this year, with Anderson winning four of those races. Their second-round meeting in St. Louis was far earlier than normal and came with consequences.

Neither driver was willing to leave anything on the table, and Glenn left the starting line with a clean .020 reaction and Anderson behind by only four-thousandths-of-a-second. Anderson was ahead by the 60-foot timer, reaching that first critical increment in .986-second to his worthy opponent’s .992. At 330 feet, Anderson was 2.741 to Glenn’s 2.752; at 660 he was 4.205 to 4.221 with identical 167 mph speeds. At the 1,000-foot timer, Anderson’s 5.474 was beating a 5.493 before a winning 6.548, 208.71 topped a 6.568, 208.42 at the close of the quarter-mile. The win light came in Anderson’s favor by just .0168-second.
Meanwhile, Matt Latino’s victory over Pro Stock newbie Chris Vang in the second round allowed him to advance to the semifinals for the first time in his career. Unfortunately for the young driver, his opponent was the most winning driver in the history of the class, and Anderson got the win light, 6.551 to 6.601.
On the other side of the ladder, Hartford was taking care of business for the team as well in his Rottler/Total Seal Chevrolet, getting up on the wheel to deal out a near-perfect .003-second reaction time ahead of his 6.557, 209.43 (the winning top speed of the round). Hartford’s one-two punch all but dashed the championship hopes for opponent Enders, who was .025 at the start and 6.570, 209.92 at the stripe.
His work was not done, however, and in order to reach the 20th final round of his career, Hartford had to get past Troy Coughlin Jr., who had been double-oh on the tree all day. Coughlin cut another good light, a .003, but abruptly rattled the tires. Hartford cruised ahead to a 6.562, 209.85 while Coughlin slowed to a 14.396.
Coming into the last round of the day, Hartford held a 2-1 advantage over Anderson in previous finals – an interesting statistic next to the fact that Anderson was 20-5 against Hartford in overall elimination rounds.

Anderson proved that age is not an issue with another great reaction time, .021 to Hartford’s .038, and he kept the lead at each increment along the way to his sixth victory of the season and an invaluable triumph at a critical juncture in the playoffs. Anderson won it with a 6.531, 209.33 to 6.543, 209.49.
“This day was crazy,” said Anderson. “I’m whipped, but we got ‘er done today for Rick Hendrick and HendrickCars.com, Summit Racing, for all the great folks who support us. We held off the other team, and the points are looking fairly good right now – but not good enough. Once we get through Dallas and the Stampede of Speed over there in two weeks, we will hopefully have extended that gap and feel good going to Las Vegas and Pomona. It’s been a great year so far, but you can mess it up at any time and give up that lead. We don’t want to do that, and we’re going to continue working hard not to. I’m just so proud and honored to be part of this KB Titan team. I have every faith in our ability to win this championship.”
The points rundown
Glenn remains the points leader heading into race four of six in the championship playoffs, with Anderson No. 2 – just 25 points back. Hartford made a good move up with his final-round finish, going around Aaron Stanfield to No. 3 in the Pro Stock points (160 marks out of first). Stanfield is 200 points out of the lead, while Reed is 214 back, Enders is 218 away, and Eric Latino is seventh and 230 points behind. Cody Coughlin is 236 marks away from first.
The next event in the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series 2025 NHRA Countdown to the Championship is the Texas NHRA Fallnationals in Dallas, Oct. 8-12, with the Nevada Nationals in Las Vegas and the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals in Pomona to follow. Each point at the season closer will be valued at points-and-a-half.

• Final qualifying – NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals •
Career first No. 1 secure, Eric Latino and the KB Titan Racing team in the hunt for Midwest Nationals trophy

Through four rounds of qualifying at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals, KB Titan Racing remained strong and on course for a powerful finish at the third of six NHRA Countdown to the Championship events. This weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway, Eric Latino checked a Pro Stock career goal off the list as he led the team in qualifying to secure the first No. 1 of his career. With the top spot, Latino also earned the GESi Pro Stock Low Qualifier Award. In all, KBT locked down the top four spots and six of the top eight.
“This is a big deal,” said Latino, who made his NHRA Pro Stock debut in Norwalk in 2023 after racing into the Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame as a record-setting Pro Mod driver. “I ran Pro Mod most of my life with a smaller group of guys who were very competitive. Then I wanted to come out to the big stage and run NHRA Pro Stock with the best of the best.
“To come out and go No. 1, it’s the team. It’s KB Titan Racing. Being able to race with Dallas Glenn, Greg Anderson, all the guys at the shop – it’s pretty great. If it wasn’t for the whole team of KB Titan Racing, I’d be qualifying 20 out of 20. It’s really, really tough to race NHRA Pro Stock. If you can’t partner with a team who’s been doing this for 25 years and has a whole collection of data, you’re not going to make it.”
Latino’s previous-best qualifying effort came in 2024, when he earned a start from the No. 2 position twice, in Richmond and Seattle. This season, the driver of the GESi Camaro was creeping up on his first No. 1. After the first race of the 2025 Countdown to the Championship, he felt confident it would happen sooner rather than later.
“It’s a new engine in my car; we ran it in Reading, and it ran real strong,” he said. “Last week in Charlotte, we ran No. 3 qualifier. I knew this was coming, and I said before this race, ‘We’re going to be No. 1 Friday night. I just felt it. I was able to drive the car, hit all the gear changes, and make it run.”
Latino’s quickest run of the weekend came in the second qualifying session, which took place in the cooling air of early evening on Friday in St. Louis.
“You can’t drive a car and go that quick if you don’t hit all your shift points – I proved it in the third qualifier. I drove like a cowboy, and that’s why I was so slow,” said a humbled Latino.
In the first session of qualifying his 6.532 was good for the No. 3 position. He came back in the second qualifier to lay down a 6.515, 209.75 that moved him into the top spot and was accompanied by three bonus points. Q3 on Saturday, in warming weather, brought a 6.598, and Latino closed out qualifying with a 6.532. In all, he scored a total of six bonus points and is No. 6 in the Pro Stock points heading into Sunday.

KB Titan teammate Dallas Glenn, who scored five bonus points in qualifying driving his RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet, is assured the points lead leaving this event no matter the outcome. His closest contender is another KB Titan Racing driver and the most winning driver in the history of the class – Greg Anderson. Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Camaro are looking to defend the series title earned last season. A six-time champion, the 111-time Pro Stock winner has been a tough customer for anyone all year long with one of the quickest cars at any given race. Anderson was a bit off the pace in St. Louis qualifying, but he still snuck in three bonus points and is a threat to win on any given Sunday.

The big bonus-points-earner in qualifying, though, was KB Titan-powered Cory Reed, who snatched up seven bonus marks with a very quick J&A Service entry. Matt Latino, Eric’s son and the newest member of the team, scored a pair of bonus marks, while Reading finalist and Rookie of the Year contender Cody Coughlin earned an extra point as third-quickest in one of the sessions driving his Cody Construction car from under the KBT umbrella.
The six-race playoffs are now midway through, with three races nearly behind and three on the horizon before the champion is decided. For Latino, though, the focus is on Sunday in St. Louis, where he’ll meet Troy Coughin Jr. in the first round.
“What I’m really excited about right now is Matt Latino,” said the proud father of the young man who made his debut earlier this season and is carving a path to success under his father’s watchful eye. “My son is on the other side of the ladder, and it’s a tall order, but the coolest thing would be for me and I to end up in the final tomorrow. I don’t know if it’s possible, but it would be pretty awesome.”
Coughlin will race Fernando Cuadra Jr. in round one, while KBT-powered Matt Hartford is set for a meeting with Cristian Cuadra. Glenn will race Jeg Coughlin Jr., Anderson will race Mason McGaha, Reed will go head-to-head with Pro Stock newcomer Chris Vang, and Aaron Stanfield will race Matt Latino.
Elimination rounds at the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals will begin on Sunday at World Wide Technology Raceway beginning at 11:00 a.m. Central Time.

• Friday qualifying – NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals •
KB Titan’s Eric Latino scores provisional pole, in line for career-first No. 1 at NHRA Midwest Nationals

Competing in one of the most technologically advanced categories can place quite a burden on a driver. When the equipment beneath you comes from the most successful team in NHRA Pro Stock history, one is tasked with rising to meet the capability of said equipment, but on Friday at the facility nestled in the shadow of the St. Louis Arch, Eric Latino did just that. Driving the GESi Chevrolet Camaro out of the famed KB Titan Racing (KBT) stable, Latino took full advantage of the power available and hit every mark just right to move into position as the provisional No. 1 qualifier.
In doing so, Latino also scored World Wide Technology Raceway’s special 2025 Friday No. 1 Qualifier Top Hitter bat from Rawlings. As the provisional pole changed hands between drivers throughout the session, so did the sleek etched commemorative baseball bat. As the elapsed times got quicker and quicker, each driver in the lead would take possession of the bat and take a seat in a stadium-style chair at the top end. KB Titan teammate Dallas Glenn, the incoming points leader, had hold of the bat when Latino blazed to a blistering 6.515-second pass at 209.75.

“That was pretty exciting,” said Latino, a member of the Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame for his achievements in a Pro Mod car. “I saw Dallas Glenn sitting up on top of the chair holding a baseball bat and I didn’t know how I ran. I felt like it was a good run. As I came around the corner, they opened the door and told me to hurry up and get up there, Dallas Glenn is off the seat and that baseball bat is yours. I was a little bit in disbelief because it’s really tough to be No. 1 qualifier in this class. I’ve been waiting a long time for this, so I’m pretty excited. It was just a good run.”
In addition to the bat and the lofty position, Latino also brought home three bonus points in the second qualifying session as the quickest of the round, and in the opening qualifier, he was third-best for a bonus point. Additional top marks went to KBT teammate Cory Reed, who was low of the opening round in his J&A Service Camaro and third best in the night’s final act for a total of four. Glenn, driving for RAD Torque Systems, was second quickest both sessions for four extra points.
At present, Latino’s position has him set for a Sunday start against his son, Rookie of the Year candidate Matt, driving the FASS Diesel Fuel Systems Chevrolet. The younger Latino ran into a spot of trouble in one session but laid down a 6.577 with a plentiful speed of 209.72 mph in the other to keep a spot in the field. If the qualifying positions should remain unchanged, the two will race one another in the first round on Sunday in St. Louis.
“I do not want to face Matt. Last time, his first race in Pomona, I was up against Matt and he put me on the trailer,” said Latino. “Tomorrow, Matt’s car is going to advance. We’ve got some issues to figure out, but he’s going to move. He will not be running me on Sunday.”
Glenn is No. 2 for now, with Reed No. 3. KB Titan-powered Matt Hartford, in his Eddie Guarnaccia-tuned Total Seal machine, made a positive move in the right direction with a 6.529, 209.72 that has him in the No. 4 position heading into Saturday.
Although Greg Anderson’s first pass of the day landed him uncharacteristically on the bump, he made up ground in the later session and drove the HendrickCars.com Chevrolet to a 6.541 and moved up to No. 7.
Cody Coughlin, in his Cody Construction Group entry, is just behind his teammate in the No. 8 spot.
Get BioFuel campaigner Deric Kramer has not yet made the run he’s looking for and will be looking to break into the field tomorrow.
Qualifying for the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals will continue on Saturday at World Wide Technology Raceway, with sessions scheduled at 12:15 p.m. and 3 p.m. Central Time.
• Race report – NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals •
KB Titan wins second race of Countdown, Dallas Glenn and Greg Anderson finish 1-2 in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE (Sept. 21, 2025) — KB Titan Racing was unshaken and victorious this weekend at the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals, taking the second race of six in the 2025 Countdown to the Championship by storm as they swept the event and claimed their 12th trophy of the season. Dallas Glenn, who has led the points since Seattle, blasted to the pole and followed his win at Maple Grove Raceway last weekend with a triumph at home.
“I knew I had a fantastic car coming in, so I really just wanted to try to keep momentum,” said RAD Torque Systems Pro Stock pilot Glenn, who now leads the points by 79 marks. “[But] you look at the ladder for Sunday and you’re like, oh, this is going to be a tough day. You just try to bring your A-game and stay focused.”
It may not be favored by the traditional racer, but the unique four-wide format creates an incredibly quick-paced Sunday with abounding twists and turns. Hot off the brutal bedlam that ensued at the NHRA Reading Nationals last week – aptly taking place at the racetrack known as the “House of Chaos” – the theme continued right into Charlotte.
Strong qualifying brought KB Titan Racing the top six starting positions, and raceday followed suit. Five of the seven KBT-powered cars advanced from the first round, including Matt Hartford and his Hose Connection/Total Seal Chevrolet, which clocked low elapsed time of the entire event with his 6.522-second pass. Points positions in the middle of the top 10 were ruffled as KB Titan’s Eric Latino drove his GESi Chevrolet to a strong 6.544 that was second-quickest in his quad but didn’t make the cut due to a bit of a delayed start.
In true testament to the testiness of the playoffs, the tiniest bump in his program sent well-heeled Latino into a dramatic drop; he fell from No. 3 in the Pro Stock points to No. 7. Hartford moved up to No. 4, and with victory in their own quads, KB Titan teammates Cory Reed and Cody Coughlin moved up to fifth and sixth, respectively.

Glenn and KB Titan Racing’s Greg Anderson, who have been neck-and-neck all season long, each won their first-round quads with undeniable horsepower that has been on display all season long. Anderson’s 6.534 in his HendrickCars.com entry was best in his battle, and Glenn’s 6.540 was best of his four-pack.
Only four drivers would advance from the second round to reach the final, and in the end, it was Anderson and Glenn each earning the honor, while Erica Enders and Aaron Stanfield claimed the remaining two spots.
A spectacularly quick turnaround spurred the energy, and four of the most notable drivers in the class came to the starting line for what Anderson would call a “Battle Royale.” Stanfield and Enders had both made up some ground in the standings, and the two KB Titan Racing drivers knew that at this second race of the Countdown, it was imperative to keep their competitors at bay. Glenn launched first with a .016-second reaction time, and Anderson wasn’t far behind with a .031. Stanfield was sandwiched between with a .022 reaction, with Enders right there as well clocking a .032.
Soon though, Stanfield rattled the tires. Enders was doing her best to make hay, but at the final stripe it was Glenn with the win light and Anderson right behind for another 1-2 finish for the KB Titan Racing team. The powerful conclusion to their home event – KB Titan Racing is based just down the road in Mooresville – marked the 10th time this season that a pair of KBT cars ended the day with first- and second-place. Glenn’s victorious 6.554 was paired with top speed of the meet, a 209.95 mph blast, and Anderson’s 6.562, 209.01 got the job done.
“I feel like I have a little bit more of an edge over everybody else this year than I did last year, and honestly, I was probably driving better last year,” admitted Glenn. “But I feel more relaxed, and I’m not nearly as worried about points – even though I’m still following them and doing all the math in my head. I’m not really stressed or worried or anxious. It was good having a fantastic season all the way through and not really struggling at any point; now I’m just keeping the wave going, trying to not make any mistakes, make good, clean runs, and trying to crush the tree. As long as everything keeps falling together, that’s what I’m going to keep trying to do.”
Six-time and reigning world champion Anderson, who has five wins in seven final rounds on the season, is pleased with the team’s playoff performance thus far.
“Dallas is off to a fantastic start, and I’m off to a good start,” said 111-time Pro Stock winner Anderson, the most winning driver in the history of the class. “The good news is that a KB Titan car is leading. We’re still one-and-two leaving here, and we’ve still got a little bit of a cushion. Obviously, we want to win every race, and that’s probably what it’s going to take in these playoffs. The other team is close right now, and they’re capable of winning. It was a very close day all around, but we’re pretty proud that we held them off again and got the one-two. Dallas is going to be hard to catch, but I’m not giving up, and I’m going to continue to do what I do. These races can flip in an instant, and you have to keep trying.
“It would have been a dagger to our hearts to cough up the lead we came here with, but we didn’t do that. There’s a long way to go, but we’re still on schedule. We have to continue putting the pressure on and executing. But my hat is off to Dallas. He’s racing error-free right now, and he’s going to be a helluva handful to catch. He’s a good friend and a good kid, and if I can’t find a way to catch him, I’ll still be the happiest guy in the room outside of Dallas Glenn when we go to that awards ceremony at the end of the year.”
The next race on the 2025 Mission Foods Drag Racing Series schedule is the NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals next weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Ill., just outside of St. Louis, Sept. 26-28.

Dallas Glenn No. 1 again, KB Titan locks down top six starting positions in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE (Sept. 20, 2025) — Another stellar batch of qualifying runs set the KB Titan Racing team ahead of the competition, with points leader Dallas Glenn ultimately locking down the top spot in his RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro for the second consecutive event. Reigning and six-time Pro Stock world champion Greg Anderson, driving his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet, qualified in the No. 2 position at the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway, raking in 10 important bonus points to keep Glenn on his toes heading into raceday.
“It’s been such a fantastic season; this is my sixth No. 1 qualifier and only the 12th of my career, so to get half of my No. 1’s in one season shows how good this car is right now,” said Glenn, who finished last season just 11 points behind Anderson in the championship chase. “I’ve said it before, that I’ve felt I was in the best car I’ve ever been in, but I feel like it just keeps stepping up. As long as I don’t let the car or the crew chiefs down and keep doing my job, I think it’s going to be a pretty tough battle.”
The four-wide format of the Carolina Nationals marks the first time in history that competition has extended beyond two lanes during the Countdown to the Championship playoffs. If history has its say, the extra wrench in the works shouldn’t be much of a disruption for Glenn, the 2021 Rookie of the Year. He won both the Las Vegas and Charlotte four-wide events earlier this season, and he also won the fall race at zMAX Dragway last year.
Although Top Fuel driver Steve Torrence is the leader in four-wide wins with six overall, he has been battling for four-wide trophies since 2010, when the format was introduced. Glenn, however, is second-most in four-wide wins with four captured overall (two Charlotte, two Las Vegas), and he’s done it in just nine starts. Glenn has raced in the final quad in seven of the nine times Pro Stock has raced four-wide, and in addition to his four wins, he was runner-up once (to Anderson in 2024).

Anderson’s three four-wide wins have all come at Charlotte, and he has two additional wins at zMAX Dragway in the two-wide format, making him the most winning Pro Stock driver at the facility. He’s been to the final in four-wide Charlotte competition 10 times — twice as many final-quad appearances as any other Pro Stock driver.
Glenn, though, is respectfully ill-concerned with history or how many lanes are on the racetrack.
“I’m just going up there and trying to win rounds and do everything I can to win races,” said the driver who recalls all-too-well missing his first world championship by such a slim margin one year ago. He entered this weekend 62 points ahead of Anderson, but the veteran earned 10 bonus points in qualifying – four more than Glenn – as the quickest in two rounds and second-quickest in the two other sessions. Anderson is now 59 points behind in second place. Glenn’s best runs of the weekend came in the second and third qualifying sessions, when it mattered most in terms of position, and his best time was a 6.535-second pass at 209.69 mph, just a touch off top speed of the event.
“I’m not letting up at all,” said Glenn. “Not one round, not one run. If you look at last year, you know that it just takes on small mistake; you can have a fantastic streak of races other than one little mess-up, and then it all comes crashing down. I’m going to go up there and try to do everything I can, every single time I strap into the car.”
The battle at the top of the standings is presently between Glenn and Anderson, but Latino and Aaron Stanfield are tied for third, 132 marks out of first. Matt Hartford, who entered the event third, dropped back to fifth by just one point; he’s 133 out of the top spot.

“I think this is great,” said Anderson, who ran a qualifying-best 6.535, 209.20. “We’re battling it out every round of qualifying and I expect to be battling through every round of eliminations on Sunday. I’ve got a great horse beneath me with my HendrickCars.com Pro Stocker, and Dallas has a car that’s just as good. We’ve got a stable full of cars that are capable of performing, but so does the team across the way. Tomorrow will be exciting. May the best man win.”
Driving the Hose Connection/Total Seal Chevrolet overseen by veteran crew chief Eddie Guarnaccia, Hartford’s best time of 6.568, 208.71 has him starting 12th but with a fierce determination to get the win on Sunday and gain headway in the points battle. Hartford was runner-up to Glenn in the Las Vegas four-wide earlier this season; he was also runner-up at the regular-season closer, the esteemed U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.
KB Titan Racing’s Eric Latino and his GESi Camaro are qualified in the No. 3 position to earn his best start since Sonoma last season. Latino, a 2019 inductee in the Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame, was one of the top performers in qualifying with a best time of 6.538, 208.01 and earned a pair of bonus points. Before his move up in qualifying, he was tied with KBT teammate Cory Reed for fifth place in the Pro Stock points entering the event.

Reed, driving the J&A Service Camaro and flying the yellow and teal ribbons on either side of his car to raise awareness for childhood and ovarian cancers, respectively, blasted to a best time of 6.552, 208.71 to score a bonus mark and start from the No. 6 position. Reed, a former Pro Stock Motorcycle Racer, earned the first victory of his career at the Norwalk Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals earlier this summer. He is No. 6 in the Pro Stock points heading into Sunday, 135 marks back.

After a final-round finish last weekend at the NHRA Reading Nationals, Rookie of the Year contender Cody Coughlin raced to a 6.546, 209.01 in his Cody Construction Chevy to start fourth and sweep in three bonus points. He was seventh in the Pro Stock standings ahead of this event and is trailing first by 148 points.
KB Titan Racing-powered Deric Kramer, No. 10 in the standings, has seen surges of success peppered throughout the season. Qualified in the No. 5 position with his Get BioFuels Camaro tuned by seasoned crew chief Michael Hiner, two-time Charlotte winner Kramer’s best time so far this weekend was a 6.551, 208.46.
The unique four-wide event doubles the competition in every round. Rather than the traditional racer vs. racer, the four-wide format brings four racers at a time to the starting line in a fight to advance. The first to the finish line without a red-light start is considered the winner, while the next-place finisher is runner-up in the round. Both advance, and the slower two of the four are ousted.
In the first round of eliminations, quad one will feature Dallas Glenn, Aaron Stanfield, Greg Stanfield, and Troy Coughlin Jr.
Quad two will be Cody Coughlin, Deric Kramer, Matt Hartford, and Cristian Cuadra.
Quad three is set with Greg Anderson, Erica Enders, Jeg Coughlin Jr., and David Cuadra.
Quad four contains Eric Latino, Cory Reed, Fernando Cuadra Jr., and Stephen Bell.
Mission Foods Drag Racing Series eliminations for the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals will begin at 11:00 a.m. ET Sunday, Sept. 21 at zMAX Dragway.

Points leader Dallas Glenn keeps KB Titan on top with Charlotte provisional pole

CHARLOTTE (Sept. 19, 2025) —The second of six NHRA Countdown to the Championship races started on a powerful note for hometown team KB Titan Racing, who calls Mooresville, N.C., home. On Friday at the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway, it was points leader Dallas Glenn and his RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet at the top of the Pro Stock pack, with reigning and six-time world champion Greg Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Camaro tying his elapsed time but landing second based on speed.
Glenn is launching into the weekend exactly as he did last week at Maple Grove Raceway, when he nabbed the provisional pole on Friday and then went on to win the race.
“I feel pretty good,” said Glenn, who is chasing the 12th No. 1 qualifier award of his career and sixth of the season. “We definitely have a hot streak going, and I have a great car right now. My RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet was the car to beat in Indy, the car to beat in Reading, and I feel like I’m driving decent. The reaction times are coming around, but I might get a little bit more aggressive tomorrow.
“As long as we can keep going up there and making good runs, keep putting the pressure on them, and then just let everyone else make mistakes, we should have something for them this weekend. These four-wide races are tougher, there’s a lot more going on, it’s very hectic, very chaotic. But we just have to keep going up there and making sure we’re making good, quality runs.
In the first round of qualifying, it was Anderson on top with a threateningly strong 6.557-second pass at 208.81 mph. Glenn was No. 5 with a 6.571, 209.04, with KB Titan Racing teammate Eric Latino clocking a 6.565, 207.53 for the No. 3 spot. In the first session, Anderson reeled in three bonus points for laying down low of the round, while Latino, third best in the opening session, scored a bonus point driving his GESi Camaro.
KB Titan Racing power occupied six of the top eight positions in the first session, with Cory Reed No. 6, Cody Coughlin No. 7, and Deric Kramer No. 8.
The later round of qualifying on Friday came with the opportunity for the Pro Stock cars to go even quicker, and KBT took full advantage as they earned all the bonus marks and the top four spots. Glenn’s 6.535, 209.69 was the quickest for three additional points, and Anderson’s own 6.535 came with a 209.20 mph speed and two extra marks. Latino was again efficiently quick, and his 6.538, 209.01 was good for another valuable point. Kramer was fourth of the session and overall in his Get BioFuel Camaro, while Cory Reed landed eighth (6.560, 208.46), Cody Coughlin was 10th (6.564, 207.66), and Matt Hartford was 12th (6.568, 206.86).
Heading into day two at zMAX Dragway, Glenn has hold of low e.t. and top speed of the event, but he is under no impression that he is locked into the top spot. Saturday will be a fresh battle, with his closest competitor the most winning driver in the history of the sport — he’s also his KB Titan Racing teammate.
“We both want the other to succeed, but at the same time, we both want to cut each other’s throats out,” said Glenn steadily. “I can promise you, Greg is doing everything he can to make his car the best he can, and I’m just trying to make sure I don’t make any mistakes and let the crew chiefs and engine guys do their jobs the best they can. It’s going to be a back-and-forth between us, and hopefully we can keep gaining momentum and keep trying to find small gains here and there to make sure that while we’re battling each other, we still stay ahead of everyone else.”
Qualifying for the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals will continue on Saturday at zMAX Dragway, with sessions scheduled at 1:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. ET.

Dallas Glenn wins again; KB Titan sweeps first race of NHRA Countdown to the Championship
READING, Pa. (Sept. 14, 2025) —There is no energy that matches the first race of the NHRA Countdown to the Championship. Aptly, the first of six playoff events in the 2025 Mission Foods Drag Racing Series took place at the racetrack christened the “House of Chaos,” and historic Maple Grove Raceway absolutely lived up to that moniker on Sunday at the 40th annual NHRA Reading Nationals presented by Nitro Fish. From the dust of one of the most compellingly unusual events so far this season, KB Titan Racing emerged victorious as Dallas Glenn extended his points lead with a final-round win over teammate and top Rookie of the Year contender Cody Coughlin.

“What a crazy day,” said Glenn, grinning widely from beneath a blue HendrickCars.com hat as he balanced the 18th Pro Stock trophy of his career on his knee. “Having my KB Titan teammate Cody Coughlin in the final after he took out Erica [Enders], and Eric Latino taking out Aaron Stanfield in the second round was just wild. They call it ‘The House of Chaos’ for a reason.”
Glenn entered the first race of the Countdown to the Championship as the points leader after officially winning the regular season. Throughout qualifying, Glenn worked to collect as many valuable points as he could. Qualifying in the top spot certainly aided his cause, as did accumulating six bonus points as one of the quickest cars throughout the four sessions. But the gloves come off on Sunday, and the driver of the RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro knew the road ahead would not be easy.
Glenn made the second-quickest pass of the opening round to defeat Aussie Shane Tucker, 6.531, 209.20 to 6.691, 206.86. Lane choice over KBT-powered Deric Kramer in the next stanza came to be unnecessary as Kramer turned it red by -.111, but an efficient 6.542, 209.72 gave the points leader an advantage over the most winning driver in the history of the class, six-time and reigning world champion Greg Anderson.
As the two came forward for the round, each rolled through the waterbox and laid into a burnout. Anderson, though, felt the tires beneath his car stumble as he leaned in to warm them. Backing up, he went through the motions and laid down another burnout. Shockingly, Anderson was immediately disqualified as soon as his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro crossed the starting line beams. Both of his burnouts had crossed the starting line – a rule infraction that mandates disqualification.
“I was shocked,” said Anderson. “That particular rule wasn’t in my memory bank, and that’s no excuse, but it’s true. I just honest to God didn’t know. It was a big mistake, and one I wish I could get back – but there’s no looking back now. We just have to focus on the next race. I’m very glad that we’ll be back in Charlotte next weekend and we can try again.”

For Glenn, the stumble was truly shocking. He and Anderson have been in combat for two seasons for the points lead and championships, and to have his closest competitor bow out in such a manner in the lane next to him was jarring.
“I feel like I’m very comfortable in the car right now; I tend to see everything,” said Glenn. “Greg started his burnout before me, and I didn’t see a lot of smoke. He stopped early, and I look up at the big screen and see he’s backing up. So I’m like, okay, he’s doing another one. I back up and get lined up, and I see him do his burnout [but] the starter did not look happy. He told him to shut it off. I was sitting there thinking, ‘Did he really just tell him to shut off?’ Then the starter came over and told me it was a single, and I snapped back to reality. I still had to pull forward and let them set the wheelie bars and flip switches. I had all kinds of stuff I needed to do, but I got so discombobulated during that routine that when I staged I was like, oh yeah, I need to hit the gas now.”
Glenn’s .115-second reaction time was inconsequential, though, and he made a clean run for lane choice and valuable data.
“Going into that round, I was ready for Greg,” said Glenn. “He was going to be a tough matchup, and I’m bummed the fans didn’t get to see whatever race we were going to throw down there.”
On the other side of the ladder, third generation racer Cody Coughlin was having a field day with the competition. In the first round, he had the quicker run to defeat cousin Troy Coughlin Jr., 6.545 to 6.581. In the second round, Coughlin and his KB Titan-powered Cody Development Group Chevrolet got the jump on Erica Enders, and it ultimately came to count as a holeshot win. Coughlin’s .025-second reaction time and 6.564, 207.91 defeated a .048 and 6.549, 210.11.
That same round, KB Titan’s Eric Latino and his GESi Camaro took down Aaron Stanfield, 6.625, 210.14 to 6.756, 208.49. Both Enders and Stanfield have held a threatening stance in recent races, with Enders winning the U.S. Nationals and Stanfield reaching the final in Sonoma.
But coming up against Coughlin – a first time finalist – for the event trophy was not something Glenn took for granted.

“I know that Cody can hit the tree; he’s got a great car and great horsepower,” shared Glenn. “The KB Titan Racing crew chiefs are going to try to make both cars make the best runs they possibly can, and I know Cody is going to try to cut my throat open up there. He was definitely going to be tough to deal with. He’s become a really great driver, and he’s not scared to hit the tree.”
This time around, though, Glenn was first to launch, and he got to the finish line first with a 6.557, 209.23 to top a 6.562, 208.68. The victory was Glenn’s first at Maple Grove Raceway and fifth of the season. He now leads Greg Anderson by 62 points (four rounds).
The battle will wage on in just a few days as the next event on the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series tour will be the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway in Concord, N.C., Sept. 18-21.

KB Titan Racing firing from the top with NHRA Reading No. 1 and valuable bonus points in hand

READING, Pa. (Sept. 12, 2025) —More than a few times in recent years, the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Pro Stock world championship has been won by just a handful of points. The 10-time championship winning team of KB Titan Racing (KBT) is well aware of this, and they’ve rounded out qualifying at the first race of the 2025 Countdown to the Championship with the bulk of the bonus points to complement the first No. 1 qualifier award of the playoffs.
Regular-season champion Dallas Glenn scored the GESi No. 1 qualifier bonus and collected six of those valuable extra marks as one of the quickest cars throughout qualifying, while KB Titan teammate and reigning world champion Greg Anderson matched his tally.
In each round of qualifying, three bonus points are awarded to the quickest of the session, with two points going to second-quickest and one to third-best.
KBT-powered drivers Cody Coughlin and Matt Hartford scored two and one, respectively. On the other side of the pits, Elite Motorsports driver Aaron Stanfield earned six and his teammate, Erica Enders, pulled in three.
“We have a really good car and were able to make a decent run this morning to get a bonus point, so heading into that final session, I felt like we had a shot at getting two or three more,” said Glenn, who was shut off on the starting line when it was noted that small drops of fluid had fallen from his engine compartment onto the racing surface. “Unfortunately, we had a little oops and were shut off and missed out on those points, but being No. 1 qualifier does help.
“We’re going to look and see if we can try to get four win lights tomorrow. The car is fantastic, it looks nice, and I’m ready for tomorrow. We have a lot of brain power in the KB Titan crew chief room right now, and I’m pretty sure they’re confident they know what to do.”
Glenn, driver of the RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro, earned his fifth No. 1 of the season and 11th of his career with a best time of 6.502, 210.50. He will race Shane Tucker in the first round of eliminations.
While Glenn is in the hunt for a first world title, Anderson is striving for a second consecutive championship and seventh overall in his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet. The most winning driver in Pro Stock – with 111 wins to date – traded the points lead with Glenn throughout the regular season. He had a tough start on Friday at Maple Grove Raceway but came back strong, picking up top marks in each of the final two sessions and earning a start from the No. 4 spot with a bold 6.515, 208.97. He will race veteran Pro Stock competitor Greg Stanfield in the first round.
Cory Reed, deftly wheeling the J&A Service Pro Stock Camaro to a best time of 6.519, 209.26, will be faced with a first-round meeting with KB Titan teammate Matt Latino. Matt, driving the FASS Diesel Systems Chevrolet, drove exceptionally well but was met with challenge in qualifying that he fully intends to overcome. He will start from the No. 12 spot based on a 6.546, 209.98.
Matt Latino’s father, Eric Latino, had a top half car all day on Saturday and was fifth of the session in the fourth qualifier, showing marked improvement over Friday’s obstacles. Eric, qualified No. 10 on a 6.536, 210.28, will drive the GESi Chevrolet to the starting line for a first-round meeting with Jeg Coughlin Jr.
Third generation drag racer Cody Coughlin, behind the wheel of his Cody Development Group Chevy, was taking nothing for granted in qualifying and was one of the top five leavers with a quick reaction time in several sessions. His best elapsed time of 6.520 at 209.33 mph, which came with two bonus points, has him in the No. 6 spot and ready to race Troy Coughlin Jr.
Round one will also feature a pair of drivers powered by KB Titan Racing squaring off. Deric Kramer and his Michael Hiner-tuned Get BioFuel Camaro are set to meet Matt Hartford and his The Hose Connection/Total Seal/Rottler Camaro, which is wrenched by Eddie Guarnaccia. Kramer qualified No. 8 (6.532, 210.37) and Hartford was No. 9 (6.532, 209.33).
Eliminations at the 40th annual NHRA Reading Nationals – the first of six NHRA Countdown to the Championship races – will begin on Sunday at 10:00 ET at Maple Grove Raceway.

Regular-season champ Dallas Glenn means business, launches into playoffs with provisional pole
READING, Pa. (Sept. 12, 2025) —The first day of the 2025 NHRA Countdown to the Championship was productive for regular season champion Dallas Glenn. Driving his RAD Torque Systems Chevrolet Camaro out of the KB Titan Racing stable of powerful Pro Stockers, Glenn made the quickest run of the day to set the stage for a strong launch into the six-race playoffs.
In the first session of qualifying, Glenn came forward with a 6.518-second pass at 210.83 mph that was good for the No. 2 spot and a pair of bonus points. As track delays caused a shift in the schedule and the later session was pushed deeper into the evening, the Pro Stock competitors were chomping at the bit. Cool air prevailed, and many picked up – including Glenn, who bettered his earlier time with a 6.502 to snatch the provisional pole. Even so, the fifth-year Pro Stock competitor had hoped for more.
“When I got to the top end on that run, I didn’t think it was going to hold,” said Glenn, who earned an addition three bonus points for his last lap of the day. “I thought we would be able to go 6.49 for sure, but I was hoping for a 6.48. As it got later, the humidity probably came up more than I thought. But going into the Countdown, I’m feeling really good. I was .027 on the tree my first hit, and I feel like I’m heading in the right direction. I feel like we have the car to beat for the championship.”
After winning the regular season championship in each of the most recent three seasons – and officially for the first time this year as regular season titles in all pro categories are now recognized and rewarded – Glenn knows that momentum is of great value, and he intends to capitalize on it.
“When everything is clicking and you find that sweet spot with the car, it’s easier to maintain than trying to find it,” he said. “Momentum is big. There is the whole luck game, too – when things are going your way, I think luck can beat skill any day. But you just have to look at it like, I’m going to go in here and do everything I can to try to build on the little points lead I have now. I’m going to try to build on it every single race. As long as I leave the track with a little more lead than I got there with, I’m going to be happy.”
Glenn was not the only one of the KB Titan Racing drivers to improve in the later session; Cory Reed moved up from seventh to No. 4 with a 6.519 in his J&A Service machine; Cody Coughlin moved from 16 all the way up to No. 5 on a 6.520 behind the wheel of his Cody Development Group Chevrolet; and reigning and six-time world champion Greg Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet elevated from twelfth to No. 6 with a 6.525.
Qualifying will continue on Saturday at the 40th annual NHRA Reading Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway, with sessions scheduled at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. ET.
