So much has changed in Dave Connolly’s life over the course of the last decade, but one thing that remains the same for this guy is his commitment to drag racing and his diverse abilities within the sport.

Ohio native Connolly was born for this stuff; dad Ray is an avid Sportsman racer and the 2009 NHRA Lucas Oil Super Comp champ. The younger Connolly’s first win was in Super Comp in Chicago 2002, and he scored his first Pro Stock victory in Brainerd (over Greg Anderson) in 2004.

He’s had success as a bracket racer, Sportsman racer, Pro Stock driver and tuner with 30 wins of his own across four categories and the 2018 Pro Stock championship as Crew Chief for Tanner Gray.

Connolly wears the Summit Racing colors now as part of the KB Racing braintrust and contributed to 11 wins for the team in 2019.

Now residing in Florida, he and fiancée Jennifer Folk welcomed son Bryson into the world in July, and it would be difficult not to speculate that this little one is the next drag racer in the family. We say, bring it on. All Connollys are welcome here!
