Always looking for more opportunities to promote Burnyzz Speed Shop (www.burnyzz.com) and feed his competitive nature, Top Fuel team owner and driver Josh Hart will wheel a Burnyzz Speed Shop-branded Dodge Challenger for the entire 2025 Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series, while also competing in his R+L Carriers Top Fuel dragster in NHRA’s Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Hart will team up with David H. Davies, who owns the DHDR team and is also a Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series competitor.
“I’ve had a Factory Stock Dodge Challenger since the series was announced,” said Hart. “These racecars are practically pieces of art, and I didn’t want to cut mine up to race it. David told me we could get set up and keep it beautiful, and I jumped at the chance. This is the perfect class to also promote Burnyzz Speed Shop, so you’re going to see more promotion on that front as well. It’s been a while since I shifted going down the track, but I have some experience from early in my racing career.”

Hart’s Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown entry will sport the unique flame design that has been a part of the Burnyzz Speed Shop logo from day one. He will get at-track support from Wesley Motorsports, and Factory Stock Showdown power guru AJ Berge will also be working with his team. The strong collection of talent, along with the experience from DHDR, has laid a strong foundation for the 2025 Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series season.
“Josh is a great racer and the ultimate car guy,” said Davies. “He’s a life-long Dodge guy who has the skills to drive anything. He will be a great addition to the class, and we are all looking forward to seeing him on track. Having a Top Fuel team owner come over is huge for us and the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown series.”
Hart will become the second dual-class Factory Stock and nitro driver in the history of the series. Leah Pruett raced in both classes from 2017 to 2021, and she won the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series world championship in 2018. The Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger will make its debut at the historic Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, March 6-9, 2025, at Gainesville Raceway.
Hart won the Top Fuel title at the venerable racetrack in his professional debut, and he has his sights set on a repeat performance. The Burnyzz Speed Shop Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown team has pre-season testing scheduled, and Hart is excited by the new challenge.
“We got our first Top Fuel win at our first race in Gainesville in 2021, and we won the Pep Boys All-Star Callout at the Gatornationals in 2023,” Hart elaborated. “I am looking forward to maybe getting another first-time win. We’ll have Burnyzz Speed Shop on the race car, and that has always brought me luck.”
Qualifying for both categories will begin on Friday, March 7 at Gainesville Raceway.
