Poole-Adams Racing, Inc. and the High Performance Expo (HPX) announced today that the two organizations will continue their partnership centered around a mutual love for drag racing. The two Stock Eliminator Chevrolet COPO Camaros owned by Daren and Veronica Poole-Adams will don the HPX livery in the 2025 season of NHRA’s Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series to highlight the inaugural trade show, which is scheduled to take place in Charlotte, June 3-5. Last season, Poole-Adams Racing displayed the organization’s branding for two races – including the divisional event at Rockingham Dragway – and talented drag racer Steve Foley claimed the victory in the HPX-branded COPO. Last week in Orlando, Foley drove HPX to the final round again, this time logging a runner-up at NHRA’s Southeast Division season-opener.
The Poole-Adams Racing team is scheduled to race five addition division races this season, with seven national events also on the docket in Gainesville, Charlotte (spring and fall), Bristol, Virginia, Columbus, and the historic U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.
In addition to garnering attention for the show via on-track representation, Poole-Adams Racing will be an exhibitor at HPX 2025, marking the team’s first time as an exhibitor at any show. In addition to one of the HPX COPO Camaros, Poole-Adams will display a new drag car entry from an emerging OEM relationship, which will include marketing and selling exclusive drag racing parts and kits engineered and developed with key manufacturers during the building of this new entry.
“HPX is going to be a drag racers dream, and I’m looking forward to introducing my new car, the new drag parts and kits we created as a result of this new relationship, showing off my COPOs, and everyone experiencing zMAX – the greatest drag venue in the country,” said Daren Poole-Adams, owner of Poole-Adams Racing, Inc. “This coming season will be my 30th year racing, and I consider Charlotte our home turf. It just makes sense to partner with HPX on this new, fresh approach to showcasing the industry in the epicenter of motorsports and performance.”
Poole-Adams has a history of giving back to the sport, and he and wife Veronica founded Rock-It Racing to encourage young racers. Last year during Hurricane Helene relief efforts, the program provided oil to keep the chainsaws working to clear storm debris.

The inaugural High Performance Expo (HPX) – the exclusive business and enthusiast show hosted by the North Carolina Motorsports Association (NCMA) – will be held June 3-5, 2025, at the Charlotte Convention Center (CCC), followed by weekend activations at zMAX Dragway in Concord, North Carolina, in partnership with MotorTrend (June 6-7). The event will bring together all segments of the automotive aftermarket industry for the first time in the heart of the auto racing community.
