Sportsman Blog: Hannah Line Preparing to Race Third National at NHRA Brainerd

Thank you all for being patient as I finalize my third blog entry!

Racing season has been busy here in Minnesota. I have had a really good start to the 2019 season. I have won some good races and lost some close ones. Over my 10 seasons behind the wheel, I have come to realize that every single pass down the track is a learning opportunity.

This season has absolutely flown by so far. I am getting more and more excited for my third national event coming up, starting on August 15, 2019. The Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway is definitely one of my favorite races. The main reason it is my favorite race is a no brainer answer: my family is together. Everyone comes home for that race.

I am feeling very confident going into the Brainerd Nationals this summer. My first two appearances in the BIR Nationals, I have done a little better each year. This year, I am hoping to follow in the footsteps of my dad, Lance, and my uncle, Ben. My dad won in Stock Eliminator at BIR in 2003. My Uncle Ben won 2017 and 2018 at BIR in Stock Eliminator.

Hope to see you there!
